'Housekeeper Required' saw Stan Whitcher well cast as the forlorn Victor whose 'domestic' problem seems to get worse rather than better.
Dianne Nicholls showed all her skills, firstly as a comedy actor in the role of the hopeful applicant who likes a drink or two, and then as Victor's wife making her unwelcome to the home.
Val Prior played the seductive second applicant that the Confidence Unlimited Employment Bureau sends for Victor to interview and Anita Prior sent the shivers down many spines with her talk of 'cremation crumpets' and 'mortuary meringues'.
Matt Parratt, directing for the first time, certainly brought out the best from his talented cast.
